Saddle Stitch Binding, also known as Staple Binding, is a form of binding most common in the average zine or chatbook. These books are made up of folded pages that are joined in the center with two to three staples. The most common size for this book is 5” x 10”. We recommend 8-40 pages for Saddle Stitch Binding.

Spiral Binding uses plastic coils woven through an array of punched holes holding the pages together. Common examples of this method of binding are sketchbooks, notebooks, and calendars. There is no size minimum or maximum. Checkout the various colors and options here.

Thermal Binding is a method of binding that adheres paper together by using heat to melt glue strips, similar to a perfect binding technique. Thermal bound books can be either 8” x 10” or 5” x 8”. The minimum amount of pages is 40. This binding is best for a larger book with many pages.

Finished Trimming services are available for projects that require a bleed or custom size. Client can specify that they would like Trimming while getting a quote.

Folding and scoring are available for any project that might require a center crease, such as staple bound books. or more complicated folds such as J-cards. Client can specify if they will need Bone Folding while getting a quote.
